A:My name is R.J. Cavender, and I am the host and creator of The Horror Library. I have assembled one of the best groups of writer’s possible online or anywhere else, known collectively as THE TERRIBLE TWELVE. Together, we'll strive to bring you THE BEST new horror available. New stories are posted on the first of every month.

Q:WHAT IS THE HORROR LIBRARY?
A:The Horror Library is place to read great horror stories. It is also a place to get your own horror fiction seen and read. Not only is The Horror Library a reader’s paradise, but it also an open marketplace. Everything you read here is also up for purchase, so if you own a publication...simply make an offer.

Q:WHAT IS THE SLUSHPILE?
A:The SLUSHPILE is your chance to have a story published at The Horror Library. It must be chosen, but when it is...you'll join the ranks of some of the most talented and prolific writers on earth.

A:Mwhahaha! ...Oh, wait! HAHA! Okay...I'm fine now! NO. WE DON'T. BUT, you have the chance to sell your OWN work from this website. Each author published will have contact info, and are encouraged to use this site to the fullest to network and prepare their work for print, publication, or production.

Q:WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?
A:It's an experiment in the making. It's a great place to read some incredible tales. It's a writer’s way of letting the publishing world COME TO YOU. Why send out dozens of queries, when you can have your work seen by countless readers every month.

A:Nope. Staff reserves that right for themselves. Try running your script at Zoetrope or TriggerStreet.

A:IF you want to have your story considered for the SlushPile, please read the submission guidelines that can be accessed from the main page.
