She grew up in the small, isolated northern town of Churchill, MB and learned much about the strength a person can carry within through her time spent there. It also helped her to see the beauty in starkness.
It was living through those dark, bitter winter days and endless expanses of nothing, that much of her love of horror has stemmed from.
Bailey has had several of her poems published in small press and local papers and has been a member of the Horror Library since is debut in July of 2003.

She is the publisher of Dark Recesses Press with the editorial help of Vincent VanAllen, Boyd E. Harris, CJ Hurtt and Fran Friel, and the art direction of Jason Beirens (details on the Submission Info page) in an attempt to bring even more talented horror writers to the voracious eyes of our beloved readers.
